Our Approach

A clear path from first grip to first round.

Three stages, small groups and honest feedback. Students move up when the skills are in place — never simply because a term has ended.

Principles

How we teach.

  1. i

    Small groups, by design.

Never more than four students to a bay. Every child is seen, every swing is coached, and nobody waits long for a turn.

  2. ii

    Feedback they can see.

Simulator data turns a feeling into a fact. Students learn what actually happened — and why — before they try again.

  3. iii

    Progress, not the calendar.

Students advance on demonstrated skill. A coach recommends a move up when the fundamentals are secure, not when a term ends.

  4. iv

    The whole golfer.

Etiquette, honesty and composure are part of the curriculum. We teach the game and the manner in which it is played.

The Pathway

Three stages. One direction.

Classes are grouped by age — 5–7, 8–10 and 11–14 — and by stage. Not sure which stage fits? Start with Foundations. Coaches confirm placement in the first sessions and recommend a move whenever a student is ready.

01

Foundations

No experience needed

Who it is for

Children getting comfortable with golf, from the very first lesson onward.

What they work on

  • Grip, stance and posture
  • Balance and solid contact
  • Putting and chipping basics
  • Etiquette on the green

Ready to move on when

They can set up on their own, make consistent contact, and putt and chip with simple control.

02

Development

Some experience

Who it is for

Golfers building consistency, confidence, distance control and technical fundamentals.

What they work on

  • A repeatable full swing
  • Distance control with wedges
  • Start line and shot shape
  • A pre-shot routine

Ready to move on when

Their full swing holds up under pressure, their wedges go roughly where they intend, and they follow a routine without reminders.

03

Course Ready

Preparing for the course

Who it is for

Students preparing to put their skills into practice on a real golf course.

What they work on

  • Course management
  • Scoring and the rules of golf
  • Pace of play and etiquette
  • Preparing for on-course play

Ready to move on when

They can plan a hole, keep an honest score, play at a good pace and look after the course and their playing partners.

Seventy-Five Minutes

An hour and a quarter, well spent.

An illustrative session. Coaches adapt the balance to each group and each week’s focus. For ages 5–7, the 75 minutes include extra movement, short games and water breaks.

10–35

The bays

Full swing

Small-group work in the simulator bays on the week’s focus, with each student reading their own numbers and adjusting with their coach.

Progress

Families always know where things stand.

  • Goals at the start of term

Each student begins the term with two or three clear goals, set with their coach and shared with your family.

  • Milestones as they happen

Skills are marked as they are demonstrated, with a short note from the coach about what comes next.

  • A review at the end of every term

A considered summary of the term, and a recommendation: continue, move up, or focus on something particular.
